Protection is important if you want to survive the harsh world in Grounded. Beasts roam the garden, and the only thing standing between life and certain death is a good set of armor. If you are new to the game, Acorn armor is available very early, and allows you to soak up hits from some of Grounded’s scariest bugs. This guide will cover everything that you need to know to get Acorn armor in Grounded, including which ingredients you will need.
Acorn Armor Ingredients In Grounded
The Acorn armor set consists of the Acorn Face Mask, the Acorn Chestplate, and Acorn Leg Plates. Here’s what you’ll need to craft a full set of Acorn armor:
- Acorn Face Mask
- Acorn Shell (x1)
- Mite Fuzz (x5)
- Crude Rope (x3)
- Acorn Chestplate
- Acorn Shell (x3)
- Clover Leaf (x6)
- Crude Rope (x4)

How To Craft Acorn Armor In Grounded
Most of those ingredients should be easy enough to get. Mite Fuzz will drop when you kill red Lawn Mites, which you will find very early in Grounded, as they are gnawing on a wire that you need to fix to power the mysterious machine during the tutorial. Crude Rope can be crafted using some Plant Fiber, which is an extremely common resource which can picked up from the ground. If you are struggling to get Acorn Shells, craft a Pebblet Hammer and head over to the Oak Tree. You’ll find an abundance of Acorns there… just listen out for those spiders. They’ll creep up on you without you even knowing.
