Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance is best when played as a team. Since it thrives on multiplayer adventures, you might be wondering who you can actually play with in Dark Alliance. This guide will cover everything that you need to know about multiplayer in Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance, including whether it has cross play or split screen multiplayer.
Does Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance Have Cross Play?
Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance has a limited form of cross play. You are able to play with friends across platform generations, so Xbox Series X|S players can team up with those on Xbox One, whilst PS4 and PS5 can also adventure together. Cross platform play is only available for those on Xbox and on PC via Windows. If you are playing Dark Alliance through Game Pass on either Console or PC, you will be able to play with others on Xbox or Windows PC. However, it is worth noting that Xbox players can not play with those on Steam.
Does Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance Have Local Multiplayer?
Unfortunately, local multiplayer is not available in Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance yet. The developers have stated that they want to add couch co-op to Xbox, PlayStation, and PC, but it won’t come until at least the first free DLC, which is set to launch during Summer 2021. As soon as we hear more on this, we’ll be sure to let you know.
Multiplayer is certainly the best way to play D&D: Dark Alliance, as utilising team attacks makes the experience much more enjoyable. We can’t wait for couch co-op to finally arrive.
